A hollow bearing tree

Hollows are essential for birds and arboreal mammals, for shelter and particularly for breeding. Unfortunately the majority of hollow-bearing trees have been removed from our landscapes – cleared for agriculture, development or firewood. Remaining old trees bearing hollows need our help to survive, by protecting them from further damage and planting understorey to restore their ecological partnerships. You can adopt one of our important “oldies”, enabling us to undertake some of this protection work.

Adopting a tree will provide funds for native plants, fencing and other protective measures.

Your sponsorship will be acknowledged in our Annual Report.
